Yoonho Kang

Vancouver, BC

Warren has lived in the Lower Mainland in BC for most of his life. A few years ago he did two community service projects using RisingYouth grants, and that has led to him joining the Sprout Ideas Fellowship program. He volunteers a lot in the Downtown Eastside, which has greatly informed his Sprout project idea.

Stepping Over the West End

Stepping Over the West End aims to share experiences of working with vulnerable populations in the Downtown Eastside with youth in schools. It is important to spread awareness about the systemic causes of issues in Vancouver such as houselessness and drug addiction.
