Saven Saad Shamoon Denha
Hamilton, ONSaven is a dynamic newcomer to Canada, currently pursuing a Master's degree at McMaster University. With a passion for promoting cultural diversity and fostering community engagement, he has taken on a leadership role as the head of the cultural club called ACSSU. Committed to making a positive impact, he also dedicate his time as a volunteer for both St. John Ambulance and McMaster University. Their diverse background, combined with his dedication to education and volunteerism, fuels his drive to contribute to Canadian society, empower fellow newcomers, and create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
Back to School Fund
The project provides essential school supplies and informs newcomers about the Canadian education system. By alleviating financial burdens and promoting equal access to education, we empower students to integrate faster and pursue higher education. Through workshops and mentoring, we familiarize them with the curriculum and available pathways, fostering a positive learning environment.

How the project works
We purchase and distribute school supplies to new comers students and host workshops and mentoring sessions to familiarize them with the Canadian education system. The aim is to support their integration, provide equal educational opportunities, and encourage the pursuit of higher education
