How the project works
WBP.world @ Earthshot Research Institute leveraged McKinsey-style consulting frameworks to build actionable problem profiles breaking down humanitarian problems that affect the underserved and overlooked, most notably the bottom billion. The Earthshot Research Institute launched project WBP.world, and will continue to develop it in stages and will run until all of the UN SDGs are achieved.
Project Impact
This is a long term initiative and our true metrics of success are measured in countries elevated, lives saved, companies built, jobs created and students invigorated. In terms of this phase of the project, we were able create a tool to engage millions of impact-driven individuals on how they can make a difference, align stakeholders through our Partner Networks (Contributors, Corporate, Institutions, Academic, Governmental, Industry, Finance) and leverage collective resources to do the most good possible. End users of the website now have access to more curated and deeper insights, data, evidence and research findings which they can use to guide decision making to increase capital effectiveness, identify what new solutions need to be built and have commenced developments of such.
Project Mission
Our mission? Build utopia from dystopia. We're 62 years behind hitting UN SDG's. Only 6 countries graduated the UN Least Developed Countries (LDC) group with 46 remaining. Millions remain in extreme poverty, lack clean drinking water & sanitation, access to healthcare, clean energy, and affordable housing. Our goal? Eradicate global human suffering and create prosperity for all.
Project Team
Our team is hungry. They've run startups, interned & consulted for Fortune 500's, and spoken on global stages.
